About Me
I am currently a member of Dublin City Council for Dublin 8, Crumlin and Kimmage. I became politically aware at a young age though the activism of my parents in the anti apartheid and women’s movement. My experience of these campaigns taught the positive power of civil activism for change and instilled in me a sense of social justice.
I was elected to Dublin City Council in 2009 and have worked on the key issues that matter to people such as dumping, green spaces, regeneration, anti socal behavior and transport.
I have a BA in Media and Marketing and a Masters degree in International Relations. Before entering politics I worked for an international development charity based in Dublin. I am currently a teacher based in Dublin 1.
In my spare time I am a lover of all things vintage, yoga, reading, travelling and discovering new music.
