Welcome to my website. I am currently a Labour City Councillor for the Dublin 8 and Crumlin Kimmage, which includes , Kilmainham, Rialto, Dolphin’s Barn, South Circular Road, Tenters, Donore, the Liberties, Crumlin and Kimmage.

- Successfully spearheaded a campaign to develop the former Chamber st site as a public park, despite proposals to sell the land for development. This is badly needed in Dublin 8 and will be the first park developed by Dublin City Council. I am committed to delivering more green spaces for the community as cities need to have adequate recreational facilities for families.
- Worked with Dublin City Council to allow communities to lease short term vacant land for community projects
- I successfully lobbied to ensure the expansion of Dublin bikes into Dublin 8 area to fully exploit the tourist network which travels from Thomas st to Kilmainham
- Worked with residents, community leaders and Dublin City Council on the regeneration projects in Dolphin House and St Teresa’s Gardens. I have also been an active participant in the post regeneration phase of Fatima Mansions/Herberton project.
- I have campaigned successfully with community groups for the establishment of a Multi Demonitional School in the Dublin 8 area. The school which opened this year, will be moving into Basin Lane in September 2008. I am committed to a full choice of school at all levels, and I will support and work towards a second level Educate Together being established.
- I worked with Kilmainham residents on their flood defenses following the devastating floods of 2011
- Secured additional money in the Dublin City Council budget to address the issue of dumping and litter in our area
- I have worked with businesses in the area to keep them in the community, improve the public spaces and encourage people to shop locally
I believe that Dublin 8 and 12 has great potential to become a creative hub in the city. I am committed to ensuring that the potential of Dublin 8 and 12 is fully exploited, building successful city neighborhoods for people. I am a Councillor who works hard, is committed to improving our city and delivers for our community.
